On October 18, 2025, the School of Pharmacy at Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) celebrated its 68th anniversary with a vibrant and meaningful gathering. The event brought together generations of alumni, faculty members, and students to honor the legacy and achievements of KMU’s distinguished pharmaceutical education.

The celebration featured a rich and inspiring program, including the 12th Outstanding Alumni Awards Ceremony organized by the Kaohsiung Medical University Pharmaceutical Education Foundation, the Decennial Alumni Homecoming, a Torch-Passing Ceremony, student club exhibitions, and a commemorative banquet. These events highlighted the School’s strong academic heritage, humanistic spirit, and ongoing pursuit of educational excellence and innovation.

Kou-Wha Kuo, Chairman of G&E Herbal Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and the Kaohsiung Medical University Pharmaceutical Education Foundation, attended the ceremony and presented the 12th Outstanding Alumni Awards, recognizing alumni who have made exceptional contributions to the pharmaceutical and medical fields.

In his remarks, Kou-Wha Kuo encouraged current students and young alumni to carry forward the School’s legacy of professionalism, compassion, and innovation—upholding KMU’s mission to advance public health and promote sustainable development in the pharmaceutical sciences.
