Major Departments and Their Responsibilities

Primary Department

Responsibilities

Audit Office

1. Inspect and evaluate the internal control system, and provide analysis and recommendations for improvement.
2. Promote effective management control at reasonable cost and improve operational efficiency.
3. Establish, revise, and implement internal audit procedures.
4. Draw up and execute the company’s annual audit plan; follow up on irregularities or processes requiring improvement, and assist in driving corrective actions.
5. Conduct regular and ad hoc audits, issue audit reports, and confirm the implementation of corrective measures for identified issues.
6. Formulate and carry out the company’s self-inspection work plans.
7. Supervise and review budgets, and handle other tasks assigned by senior management.

Office of the General Manager

1. Formulate corporate strategies; conduct research, planning, and implementation support for projects.
2. Set, plan, drive, and track business and operating objectives.
3. Assist the General Manager with business-related matters.
4. Supervise operating procedures; manage document access, contract stamping, title deed custody, major procurement and expense applications, and salary and bonus matters.
5. Review annual budgets prepared by the finance and accounting units and the monthly operating reports.
6. Plan and promote project-related business.
7. Handle stock affairs and maintain relations with directors, supervisors, shareholders, and institutional investors.

R&D Department

1. Research, develop, and design new technologies and products, and provide industry-related information.
2. Execute research projects.
3. Manage technology transfer for new products.
4. Establish conditions for pilot and initial mass production.
5. Monitor laboratory quality and processes.

Quality Control Department

1. Improve production processes and yields; execute laboratory accreditation programs.
2. Manage quality objectives.
3. Control product identification, inspection, and measurement.
4. Control finished goods flow.

Manufacturing Department

1. Assess raw material requirements.
2. Arrange and control production scheduling.
3. Handle warehouse management matters.
4. Adjust and optimize mass production conditions.
5. Manage production quality.
6. Maintain and address occupational safety and environmental protection issues.

Marketing Department

1. Formulate product marketing strategies and develop markets.
2. Collect and analyze market and industry information.
3. Handle product sales and after-sales service.
4. Coordinate internal corporate communication and plan and build the company’s external image.
5. Plan marketing campaigns, public relations, media strategies, and negotiations and planning with strategic partner vendors.
6. Draft and commission production of corporate materials, publications, event promotional materials, and PR press releases.
7. Plan, edit, design, produce, and update the corporate website.
8. Liaise with media; collect and analyze information; plan media utilization.
9. Plan and execute external exhibitions.
10. Conduct business forecasting, evaluation, and analysis; formulate business plans; and achieve operating targets and sales performance.
11. Handle mailing of materials, review business contracts, and manage promotional gifts and printed materials.
12. Collect and organize product and industry information; integrate and analyze market information.
13. Plan internationalization projects; establish and strengthen relationships in the medical field; and promote to corporate users.

Administration Department

1. Plan and manage day-to-day company affairs.
2. Manage HR and administrative functions, including recruitment, training and development, performance appraisal, promotion, rewards and discipline, and compensation and benefits.
3. Procure company raw materials, reduce procurement costs, and ensure quality.
4. Manage company equipment and assets; handle general administration, facilities maintenance, and occupational safety and health.
5. Promote projects and support business-related training.
6. Assist sales operations, calculate commissions and bonuses, and review and coordinate contracts.
7. Plan, implement, and follow up on company IT and computerization initiatives.
8. Handle required filings and public disclosures to comply with regulations of competent authorities.

Finance Department

1. Prepare the company’s annual budget and perform variance analysis and control on actual results.
2. Manage cash handling, fund allocation, and related treasury matters.
3. Handle accounting and bookkeeping matters.
4. Manage cost accounting.
5. Regularly file business tax returns and required reports to the Park Administration.
6. Handle tax filing, annual tax returns, and related matters.
7. Coordinate accounting and audit matters related to subsidy programs for R&D projects.
8. Provide financial data and handle regulatory filings and public disclosures required by competent authorities.
